Job summary

Main Event Entertainment in Columbia, MD is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and ensure Guests have an amazing experience. You will help with refills, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables while keeping dining areas spotless and safe.

You’ll greet Guests, take drink orders, and deliver items promptly, with a focus on exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Certifications and availability to work days, nights, or weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset is essential.
• Teamwork is a must for this fast-paced environment.
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests and take drink orders.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Support Server by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables, and turning tables.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards in all dining areas.
• Assist with opening, mid-day, or closing duties.

Job Description:At Main Event, our Server Assistants support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Server Assistant, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables, helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink orders.
