East Town Kitchen & Bar, operated by White Lodging, seeks an AM server to join the team and deliver exceptional guest service. Compensation is $13 per hour plus tips, with scheduling flexibility via our app to swap or pick up shifts for better balance in the food and beverage industry.

You will uphold high service standards, know menu items, assist guests, and collaborate with teammates in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, social personality and ability to engage guests.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude with a passion for service.
• Team-player mindset and ability to collaborate in a busy environment.
• Experience in restaurant or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to stand and work in a fast-paced setting, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service to all guests with friendly conversation and recommendations.
• Complete setup, side work, and closing duties.
• Know menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions accurately.
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a friendly, safe work environment.
• Process payments and complete end-of-shift paperwork.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and hospitality demeanor.
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver exemplary hospitality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• A server will provide high quality service to all guests, creating personal connections through friendly conversation intuitive suggestions, and engaging surroundings
• Complete all necessary set up, side work, and closing duties
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions
• Ensure guest satisfaction with food and drink quality and presentation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to creating a friendly and safe work environment
• Process all payment methods and complete end-of-shift paperwork
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality
• Perform other duties as assigned
