Job summary

AJ’s Steakhouse is seeking a friendly server to join our dining room team. You’ll take orders, explain menu items, and ensure guests have a great experience during a 3pm–10pm shift.

Experience in food service and strong customer service skills are preferred. You must stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and be available weekends and holidays. Training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for an eight‑hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push a cart up to 150 lbs. is required.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Providing information on menu, dishes, beverages, etc. to guests and taking orders accurately.
• Clearing dining tables and ensuring dishes are taken to dish washing area of the kitchen.
• Adhering to safety, sanitation, and alcohol control policies.
• Ensuring quality with proper presentation and accuracy of food orders.
