Job summary

The Avalon of Lewis Center is hiring a hospitality-focused server to join our dining team. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals, and help maintain a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors.

Open interviews run every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 12pm. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time staff after 90 days of employment, with benefits varying by status.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Set tables and maintain workstations; take orders and serve items graciously.
• Promote an inviting dining atmosphere and answer questions about menu items.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
