Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Server for Ashley Park by Barclay House in Utah to provide exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. You will guide menus, ensure cleanliness and hospitality, and collaborate with the team to deliver attentive service in a senior living setting.

The role requires a caring attitude, a high school diploma or GED, and hospitality or food-service experience. Familiarity with POS systems and flexibility for various shifts including holidays is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience required.

• Willingness to serve elderly residents with care and respect.
• Knowledge of POS systems is preferred.
• ServSafe certification if required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience.
• Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of food and beverages.
• Maintain standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene in dining areas.
• Take accurate orders and coordinate with team to deliver prompt, world-class service.
• Set and reset tables per company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation and stock levels in dining areas.
• Support with special events and activities as requested.

We are currently looking for a Server for Ashley Park by Barclay House

Primary Responsibilities of the Server:

• Ensure that all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
• Guiding guests through menus, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food and beverages.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in all dining areas.
• Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to deliver great food in an organized manner as to deliver prompt, world class service
• Sets and reset tables in line with company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of the house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• ServSafe Certification if applicable by state requirements.
• Food server/hospitality experience required.
• Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
• Knowledge of a POS system preferred
• Able to be flexible and work a variety of shifts including holidays, weekends and for pre-planned special events. .
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents
