Job summary

The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach is seeking a friendly Server to provide gracious hospitality to residents and guests in a senior living setting. You will assist in Bar and Coffee Shop, guide guests through menus, and ensure top-quality service while maintaining cleanliness across dining areas.

Ideal candidates have a hospitality background, are flexible with shifts including holidays and weekends, and possess a caring, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe Certification if required by state.
• Food server/hospitality experience required.
• Bar Card preferred if state allows.
• Willingness to work with elderly in a senior living setting.
• Knowledge of a POS system preferred.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts including holidays and weekends.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.

• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene in dining areas.
• Take accurate orders and coordinate with teammates for prompt, world-class service.
• Set and reset tables per company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Help maintain stock levels of bar, coffee shop, and front of house.
• Support special events and activities as requested.

We are currently looking for a Server for The Barclay at Santa Rosa Beach

Primary Responsibilities of the Server:

• Ensure that all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guiding guests through menus, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food and beverages.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in all dining areas.
• Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to deliver great food in an organized manner as to deliver prompt, world class service
• Sets and reset tables in line with company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of the house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• ServSafe Certification if applicable by state requirements.
• Food server/hospitality experience required .
• Bar Card preferred if applicable to state requirements.
• Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
• Knowledge of a POS system preferred
