Laurel Grove by Barclay House is seeking a Part-Time Server. Hours may vary. QSL Management focuses on luxurious, resort-style senior living, emphasizing wellness, safety, and joy. Join a team that values service to older adults in a supportive environment.

You will assist in dining areas, guide menu selections, and help with bar/coffee shop duties. Must be able to work holidays and weekends and have a friendly, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Caring for residents and providing gracious hospitality.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification if state requires.
• Food service/hospitality experience preferred.
• Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment.
• Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality.
• Assist in bar and coffee shop as scheduled.
• Guide guests through menus with knowledge of food and beverages.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness and hygiene.
• Take accurate orders and work with the team to ensure prompt service.
• Set and reset tables per company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if needed.
• Help maintain stock levels in front of house.

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Server for Laurel Grove by Barclay House (Hours may vary)

Primary Responsibilities of the Server:

• Ensure that all residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
• Assist in Bar and Coffee Shop as scheduled.
• Guiding guests through menus, demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food and beverages.
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in all dining areas.
• Taking accurate orders and partnering with team members to deliver great food in an organized manner as to deliver prompt, world class service
• Sets and reset tables in line with company standards.
• Assist with meal preparation if requested.
• Assist with maintaining stock levels of bar, coffee shop and front of the house.
• Assist with special events and activities as requested

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
• SERV Safe Certification if applicable by state requirements.
• Food server/hospitality experience required.
• Bar Card preferred if applicable to state requirements.
• Willingness to work with the elderly in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
• Knowledge of a POS system preferred
• Able to be flexible and work a variety of shifts including holidays, weekends and for pre-planned special events. .
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents
