Job summary

The Arcadia Family of Companies is seeking a dedicated server/waitstaff member for 40 hours per week at 15 Craigside in Honolulu. You will provide courteous dining service to residents, members, and guests, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; prior customer service experience preferred.
• Experience using a POS system and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take beverage and food orders promptly.
• Prepare food and beverages per safety and presentation standards.
• Enter orders into the POS system accurately.
• Serve meals to residents and guests courteously and timely.
• Address resident concerns with supervisors and managers.
• Provide feedback on food preparation and taste.
• Perform side-work and opening/closing duties.
• Keep waitstaff stations clean and maintained.
• Assist with emergency drills as outlined.
• Interact with residents and co-workers with courtesy and in line with mission.

What You'll Do

Join our dynamic Waitstaff team and be instrumental in providing outstanding dining experiences for our residents, members, clients, and guests.

Full-Time( 40 hours per week) - Open availability from 5:00am - 8:00pm

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests and takes beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
• Prepares food and beverages for service to residents and guests in compliance with all health and safety regulations and presentation standards.
• Accurately enters orders into the POS system.
• Serves food and beverages to residents and guests with accuracy in a courteous,timely, and professional manner, meeting or exceeding guest service standards and expectations.
• Works with and follows up with Supervisors and Managers to address and respond to residents’ concerns and requestsin regard tofood quality, service, and related matters.
• Provides Managers and Supervisors with continuous feedback from residents on food preparation, presentation, and taste.
• Performs side-work and other opening or closing duties as required.
• Ensures that waitstaff stations are clean andmaintainedthroughout the shift.
• Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situation such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook.
• Interacts with residents/clients and co-workers with patience, understanding and kindness in accordance with Arcadia Family of Companies' mission and core values.

Education/Experience

High school graduate preferred. Prior customer service experience preferred.

Computer Skills

Use of computers, working knowledge of POS system and software applications to input and research data.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; push and pull. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally transfer up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
