Job summary

Greenbrier Senior Living is seeking friendly and dependable Servers to join our dining team in Vestavia Hills, AL. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with a supportive work environment for serving residents and guests.

You will set tables, serve meals, refill beverages, and help maintain a clean dining room while following safety guidelines. Prior restaurant or senior living experience is preferred, along with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous restaurant, server, hospitality, senior living, or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dining service to residents and guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Set dining tables with proper flatware, glassware, linens, and condiments.
• Serve meals promptly, courteously, and accurately.
• Refill beverages and ensure residents have an enjoyable dining experience.
• Clear tables and transport dishes to the kitchen after meals.
• Clean and reset the dining room for the next meal service.
• Sweep and mop dining areas as needed.
• Assist with special events and community functions.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and guests.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
