Job summary

Kids for the Future in The Colony, TX is seeking a friendly Server to provide excellent guest service in a busy restaurant. You will welcome guests, present menus, take orders, and ensure accurate entry via the POS system while coordinating with the team.

Ideal candidates are energetic, team players with a passion for hospitality and the ability to handle high-volume service. TABC and Food Handlers permits are required, and you must be able to lift up to 35 lbs as part of daily duties.

• Answer questions about food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
• Perform opening, side work and closing duties, as required.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Respond promptly to any requests.
• Assist other team members with running food, drinks, pre-busing, or any other guest related situation.
• Responsible for timely and precise order entry using POS system

General Purpose of the Job:

The Server is responsible for taking care of guests by delivering exceptional customer service skills that include being friendly, team oriented, knowledgeable, and passionate. At all times, the Server is responsible for being attentive to guests needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, and important. The Server reports to the Assistant and General Manager(s).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Physical Demands:

• Must be impeccable in appearance and in the proper uniform every day without exception.

• Be Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping.
