Position: Dining Room Server

Job Summary: As a Dining Server, you will make a difference in one of our residents' favorite moments; their fine dine experience! Our menu is rich in options and carefully selected by our chefs, a perfect pairing for your outstanding customer service skills in the dining room.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting and seating Residents
- Communicating any food allergy or special nutrition needs to kitchen staff
- Providing attentive service to diners, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
- Promptly addressing any customer service issues and referring to management if and when necessary
- Performing cleaning duties, such as at the service station, around the kitchen and in the dining area
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to chemicals and cleaning solvents.
- Work within multiple work environments and unsanitary conditions.
- Exposure to illnesses and frailties of tenants.
- Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priorities as urgent needs arise that require immediate attention.
- Works among tenants, family members, visitors, and staff in a variety of situation.

- Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Must be caring and compassionate in dealing with residents as well as staff.
- Must be able to relate and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the facility.
- Must possess the ability to communicate with all levels of management, employees and outside contacts.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Possess ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
- Possess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional staff.
- Willingness to work beyond normal working hours and in other positions temporarily when
