Job summary

Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille in Saint Augustine, FL is seeking part-time servers to provide friendly food and beverage service. You will take and input orders, deliver meals, and ensure guest satisfaction while adhering to safety and liquor policies.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, 1 year serving experience preferred, and clear English communication. Flexible schedule, and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Prefer a minimum of 1 year of serving experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and/or beverage including order-taking, delivery, and clearing.
• Check station for setup and cleanliness before, during and after shift.
• Greet guests warmly and explain specials and promotions.
• Input orders into POS and relay details to kitchen.
• Deliver orders to guests and confirm accuracy.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Follow state/federal regulations and liquor policies.

• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Ability to work with a positive attitude in a team atmosphere.
• Dedication to becoming a \"seller\" and not an \"order taker\".
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to all company specs and quality standards.
• Understands the importance of practicing safety and sanitation policies at all times.
