Job summary

Ivy Park at Sacramento, managed by Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a part-time server to provide hospitable dining experiences for residents, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities include taking orders, processing them via POS, setting up and bussing tables, and upholding high service standards. Training is provided; must be 16+ with a health screening and background check.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.
• Must be at least 16 years old with a work permit.
• Excellent customer service skills and a caring attitude.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and support their needs.
• Clear written and verbal communication with staff, residents, and families.
• Criminal background check and health screenings (TB test) required.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and bus tables; maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Adhere to proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety standards.
• Support teamwork and cooperate with other departments.

Shift Times: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3pm-7pm

Pay Range: $18/hr

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer).
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette (e.g. serving from left, clearing used dishes between courses, etc.).
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For the health and safety of our team members and residents, Oakmont Management Group may require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
