  • Sweep and mop dining room floors as needed.
  • Assist with events and special functions.
  • Maintain positive relations with residents and staff.

What You Will Do:
  • Ensure salt and pepper shakers, sugar holders, and other dining items are clean and fully stocked
  • Serve residents promptly, courteously, and in an orderly manner
  • Serve meals from the left, pour beverages and clear dishes from the right
  • Remove empty dishes before serving the next course
  • Transport dishes and service items to the kitchen after meal service
  • Clean and sanitize tables and chairs and reset dining areas for the next meal service
  • Sweep and mop dining room floors as needed
  • Assist with preparation and service for special events and community functions
  • Demonstrate positive resident relations and uphold the community’s standards for hospitality and quality service
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional attitude with residents, families, guests, and team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Why You Are Qualified:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
  • At least 1 year of related dining or hospitality experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times
  • On a daily basis throughout the workday, must be capable of sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, turning, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, grasping with both hands, and performing fine manipulation
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
