Job summary

Greenbrier Senior Living is seeking a server to elevate dining experiences for our residents in Brentwood, TN. The position offers competitive pay, a sign-on bonus, and opportunities to contribute to a warm, team-focused culture.

You will set up tables, maintain settings, and deliver courteous service to residents and guests, ensuring meals are served and cleared efficiently. A positive attitude and strong communication help build relationships with residents and families.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred (1+ year).

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain proper table settings, including flatware, glasses, napkins, condiments, and décor.
• Ensure salt and pepper shakers, sugar holders, and other table items are clean and fully stocked.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to residents and guests.
• Serve meals in an orderly manner (serve from the left, pour beverages and clear from the right).
• Clear tables between courses and remove dishes efficiently.
• Transport dishes to the kitchen after meal service.
• Clean and reset tables and chairs for the next meal service.
• Sweep and mop dining areas as needed.
• Assist with preparation and service for special events and functions.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and guests while maintaining a friendly and cheerful attitude.

Why You Are Qualified

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred (1+ year)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
