Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living in Newville, PA, is seeking a part-time Server for evening shifts (4pm–7pm) with rotating weekends and holidays to support dining services for residents. The position offers compensation from $14 to $15 per hour depending on experience, and includes a perk of free meals during your shift.

As a Server you will prepare dining areas, serve meals promptly, maintain food temperatures, assist with cleaning and sanitizing, and help with kitchenware.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas for meals; this may include setting tables with dinnerware and decoration.
• Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper food temperature when serving.
• Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests.
• Obtain meal orders.
• Monitor and maintain proper levels of supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms.
• May observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain adequate cleanliness of dining services equipment and work area.
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy.

The Server is responsible for preparing dining areas for meals, serving food in a timely manner. This position also assists with the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen and dining area in addition to kitchenware and equipment.
