Nifty Fifty’s in Newtown Township is seeking a customer-focused server with prior full-service dining experience. Open availability, including weekends, is required. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals, and ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest.

The role emphasizes hospitality, accuracy in taking and processing orders through the POS, maintaining a clean dining area, and providing excellent customer service that reflects the restaurant’s 1950s-inspired vibe.

Responsibilities

• Greet and farewell guests as they enter and leave the building.
• Accommodate guests' special needs and dietary requests.
• Present the menu, answer questions and make recommendations.
• Take orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and check back to ensure satisfaction.
• Observe guests to respond to requests and determine when meals are finished.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area and reset tables as needed.
• Present guest checks and handle payments, giving correct change.
• Thank guests and invite them to return.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks and assist with other duties.

Job description

Open availability is a must. Must be able to close on weekend. Previous serving experience in a full service dinning is required

Responsibilities and Duties

• Greet and say goodbye to all customers as they enter/leave the building and sit/get up from their table
• Accommodate any special needs to guests (food allergies, requests, etc.)
• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food.
• Take customer orders by writing them down and entering orders into the POS system
• Serves customers their food and check back on the guest to make sure meal came out correctly
• Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
• Maintain a clean and organized area (condiments, napkins, comment cards, etc.)
• Presents guest check to each table and accept approved form of payment
• Makes correct change or completes the proper charge card procedure
• Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining.
• Clean tables and floors as needed
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
• Other additional tasks management may need assistance with
