Job summary

Zuma Restaurants is seeking a professional server to deliver attentive service in a contemporary Japanese dining environment. You will take accurate orders, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure.

Must have restaurant experience; compensation is $11.35 per hour plus tips. This role emphasizes team collaboration, guest engagement, and maintaining the highest standards of service in a premier dining destination.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serve courses promptly and courteously, presenting dishes attractively.
• Anticipate guests' needs, make recommendations, and assist with menu selections.
• Monitor tableware and utensils, replacing items as needed to maintain cleanliness.
• Engage with guests professionally, addressing questions and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery and smooth communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen
• Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously, presenting dishes in an appealing and visually pleasing manner
• Anticipate guests' needs and preferences, making recommendations and offering assistance with menu selections as needed
• Monitor tableware, glassware, and utensils to ensure cleanliness and replace items as necessary
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about the menu, providing information about ingredients and preparation methods, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages and maintain smooth communication between FOH and Kitchen teams
