Job summary

Zuma - San Diego is seeking a friendly Server to deliver attentive service in our contemporary Japanese restaurant. You will greet guests, take orders accurately, communicate dietary needs to the kitchen, and ensure a smooth dining experience while representing the Zuma standard of hospitality. Must have restaurant experience.

Compensation is $19.00 per hour plus tips. Benefits include world-class training, health benefits, and staff discounts. We use eVerify to confirm U.S.

• Previous experience as a Server in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or hospitality establishment preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen
• Serve food and drinks promptly and courteously, presenting dishes in an appealing and visually pleasing manner
• Anticipate guests' needs and preferences, making recommendations and offering assistance with menu selections as needed
• Monitor tableware, glassware, and utensils to ensure cleanliness and replace items as necessary
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions about the menu, providing information about ingredients and preparation methods, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages and maintain smooth communication between FOH and Kitchen teams

Main Duties
