Job summary

The Joseph by Makeready is seeking polished servers to join our Food & Beverage team. As a Server, you will deliver warm, confident service with strong menu knowledge, creating memorable experiences for guests in a fine dining setting.

As a Server, you will play an important role in delivering the elevated level of service our guests expect. You’ll bring warmth, confidence, attention to detail, and strong menu knowledge to every interaction while working alongside a talented team committed to excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Provide warm, professional, and attentive service to every guest.
• Create genuine connections while anticipating guest needs and preferences.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders.
• Deliver food and beverages according to established service and presentation standards.
• Maintain table presentation, cleanliness, and organization throughout service.
• Communicate allergies, dietary restrictions, and special requests accurately to the culinary team.
• Collaborate with culinary, bar, host, and support teams to ensure seamless service.
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism, urgency, and a solution-oriented approach.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol service, and hotel standards.
• Assist teammates whenever needed and contribute to a positive, respectful, team-focused culture.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Fine dining, luxury hotel, or upscale restaurant experience is a plus.
• A natural hospitality heart and genuine enjoyment of serving others.
• Polished communication and professional presence.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Ability to remain composed and gracious in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to being a strong teammate.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods and safely carry trays, plates, and service items.
