Job summary

Culinary Creations is seeking experienced Catering Servers to join our event team. You will represent our brand at weddings, corporate events, private dinners, and special occasions, delivering exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

As a face of our company on-site, you will help set up spaces, manage buffet stations, serve meals and beverages, and support the lead chef or event captain. This is part-time, on-call work with hours varying by schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server is preferred.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays.
• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including tables, linens, place settings, buffet lines, beverage stations, and décor.
• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service throughout the event.
• Serve plated meals, pass appetizers, manage buffet stations, and deliver beverages as directed.
• Communicate clearly with the event captain and culinary team to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, clearing plates, glassware, and trash throughout the event.
• Monitor guest needs proactively, refilling drinks and addressing requests promptly.
• Follow all food safety and service standards to ensure a professional, safe event environment.
• Assist with event breakdown, including clearing tables, packing equipment, and resetting spaces as needed.
• Represent the catering company professionally at all times with a positive and polished demeanor.
