Server / Lead Server

Rate: $17.13 + tips ($20-50)

Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Reports to: Floor Manager / General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and service-driven Server or Lead Server to join our front-of-house team at Noii Sushi. In this role, you are more than a server—you are a storyteller, guide, and host, curating memorable dining experiences for our guests through warm hospitality, refined service, and deep menu knowledge. The ideal candidate brings poise, passion, and leadership to every table.

• Confidently guide guests through the food and beverage menu, offering curated recommendations and upselling specials or seasonal items.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready dining area at all times.

• Ensure smooth and efficient communication between front- and back-of-house teams.
• Assist with training and mentoring of new team members when applicable.
• Manage guest complaints or recovery moments with empathy, professionalism, and composure.
• Foster repeat visits by building genuine rapport and memorable experiences.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience in a high-volume or upscale dining environment (lead server experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and beverage culture (preferred but not required).
• A natural leader with a collaborative and team-first mindset.
• Exceptional multitasking abilities and grace under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic wine, sake, and cocktail knowledge.
