Responsibilities

• Greets newly seated Guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Takes food and drinks orders accurately and understands all menu items.
• Enters orders into Micros in correct sequence and handles charges.
• Delivers food, ensures proper garnishing, and checks back with Guests.
• Maintains a clean station and supports bussing and table resets.
• Participates in incentives and contests to drive sales and brand awareness.
• Adheres to sanitation procedures and maintains teamwork with other staff.
• Handles alcohol awareness procedures and escalates to a Manager when needed.

POSITION SNAPSHOT

Ensures Guests have an unparalleled experience by providing fast, friendly service and being attentive to Guests' needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets newly seated Guests in a friendly and timely manner.
• Accurately takes Guests' food and drink orders and maintains a thorough understanding of all menu items.
• Enters orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, making appropriate modifications and charges.
• Ensures food is properly garnished and delivers trays to the designated table server section.
• Works quickly and efficiently while following the "Full hands in, Full hands out" philosophy.
• Assists in party set up and breakdown, bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Participates in all incentives and contests to drive sales and promote the brand.
• Follows portion guidelines to ensure cost control while maximizing the Guest experience.
• Ensures ongoing Guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre-bussing as necessary, and responding to Guest needs promptly.
• Maintains a clean station, sets up and takes down station tables appropriately.
• Adheres to company sanitation procedures and maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Team Members.
• Communicates effectively with Guests to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience.
• Operates Micros, makes changes, accurately conducts credit card transactions, and accounts for all monies at the end of each shift.
• Follows alcohol awareness procedures and assesses Guest demeanor, calling a Manager when necessary.
• Reports all problems or unusual matters of significance to the immediate supervisor and takes corrective action when required.
• Assists other Team Members as needed or as business dictates.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Dressed in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times.
• Ability to operate Micros and accurate credit card handling.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Physical stamina to work days, nights and/or weekends; lift and carry up to 30 pounds; stand, walk and reach for a full shift.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Work days, nights and/or weekends as required. Work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions. Read and write handwritten notes. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Move about, stand for long periods, walk or stand 100% of shift. Reach, bend and stoop frequently.
