Job summary

Solera Senior Living in Illinois seeks a compassionate Server to join our dining team on a PRN basis, with 12 hours weekly and 4PM-7:30PM shifts. You will help create a welcoming dining experience for our residents, delivering meals with care and courtesy while upholding cleanliness and hospitality standards.

We value teamwork, reliability, and outstanding service. Prior serving experience is preferred but not required, and vaccination against flu is requested.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must receive the annual Flu vaccine.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner.
• Reset and prepare tables for the next meal service.
• Serve room trays as needed.
• Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Uphold food quality and presentation standards.
• Assist with dishwashing as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and friendly dining atmosphere.
• Ensure diets are served correctly according to policy.

Server Position Summary

The Server plays an essential role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. The Server is responsible for providing attentive, courteous service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hospitality.

Server Responsibilities include:

• Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner
• Reset and prepare tables for the next meal service
• Serve room trays as needed
• Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
• Adhere to food quality, presentation, and appearance standards
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order
• Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service
• Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing as needed
• Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
• Ensure diets are served correctly according to policy and procedure
