Job summary

Solera Senior Living's Hunters Woods at Trails Edge in Reston, VA is seeking a part-time Server to deliver attentive dining service to our residents. The role focuses on creating a welcoming dining experience and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

The Server will take and deliver orders, reset tables, and ensure meals meet dietary policies. Previous serving experience is welcome but not required, and we offer benefits, growth opportunities, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable and service-oriented.
• Excellent customer service attitude.
• Must receive the annual Flu vaccine (excluding medical or religious exemptions).

Responsibilities

• Serve resident meals in a timely and professional manner.
• Reset and prepare tables for the next meal service.
• Serve room trays as needed.
• Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Adhere to food quality, presentation, and appearance standards.
• Exhibit serving standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
• Take orders, answer questions about menu items, and provide excellent customer service.
• Clear dishes and assist with dishwashing as needed.
• Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Ensure diets are served correctly according to policy and procedure.

Server Position Summary
