Job summary

Champions Group's Champions Club in Houston, TX seeks a Server to join our Food & Beverage team, taking orders, assisting bartenders, and delivering exceptional hospitality. Part-time position with 20-30 hours per week, mornings and/or evenings.

You’ll upsell items, process payments, and maintain sanitation while providing guests with a memorable Champions Club experience; certifications required and flexible shifts including weekends. Compensation starts at $10 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handler’s Certification.
• TABC Certification.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
• Ability to adhere to all company policies and the code of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables/service carts before service with appropriate utensils and napkins.
• Greet guests, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Knowledge of the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, desserts and beverages.
• Ability to make drinks in a pinch/willingness to step behind bar and help if needed.
• Keep water/coffee stations clean and fully stocked.
• Ensure patrons have all of the appropriate tableware they need to enjoy their meal.
• Deliver food orders to guests quickly and accurately.
• Accurately process guest transactions, manage tips, and make change.
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
• Bus tables/service carts by removing dirty dishes and trash.
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all other guest service guidelines.

About The Role

Champions Club is looking for Servers to join our growing team! As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you’ll work as a Server who can also support bartenders as needed. You'll be responsible for taking orders, answering questions about the menu and food, upselling food and drinks, taking payment, and supporting guest service with our best-in-class Champions Club hospitality.

• This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week. We’re looking for folks who can work morning and/or evening shifts.**

• Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, private club, and/or casino preferred

• Ability to maintain top-level performance during high stress situations

This starting pay for this role is $10.00/hr + Tips
