Job summary

True Connection Communities in Glen Allen, VA seeks a Part-time Server to deliver a best-in-class dining experience for residents. You welcome guests, take orders, relay them to kitchen staff and ensure timely service while maintaining a clean dining area.

Shifts are 7am-2:15pm, 3-4 days per week with weekend availability. Prior food service experience and a friendly, attentive attitude are preferred; the role supports a warm, hospitable environment within a senior living community.

Qualifications

Job Purpose

The Server role is the most important role in delivering best in class dining experience, as they are the first and last contact with Residents and have the ability to resolve any service issues as they arise. A Server’s responsibility is attending to diners before, during and after their meals by helping them place and receive their orders. They also ensure the timely delivery of food and beverages by checking on their tables periodically throughout the service period.

Working Conditions

The Server works in a dining room and spends most of their shift on their feet. They carry trays of food, dishes, or glassware, which are often heavy. During busy dining periods, the server position are under pressure to serve customers quickly and efficiently.
