Job summary

Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort in Gatlinburg, Tennessee seeks a Server to provide meals and beverages, while embodying Westgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic. You will present menus, take and relay orders, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced dining setting.

The role requires ABC certification within 30 days, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and availability on weekends/holidays; starting pay is $6.98 per hour plus tips, with Daily Pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• ABC Certification required within 30 days of Hire and maintained.
• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Writes order on check or memorizes it.
• Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Serves patrons from chafing dish at table.
• Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Completes all assigned side works and special projects.
• Must have complete menu and bar knowledge.
• Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to Cashier.

Job Description

What You'll Do as a Server:

As a Server at Westgate Resorts you serve meals and beverages to patrons in dining establishment. You will demonstrateWestgate’s core values of Passion, Integrity, and Work Ethic in every interaction with guests and team members.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

• ABC Certification required within 30 days of Hire, must be maintained on a current/valid status.
• Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• High school diploma or general education degree GED.
• The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
