Job summary

The Club at Cordillera Mountain in Edwards, Colorado, part of Troon, seeks a Full-Time Server for a seasonal six-month assignment. The role requires delivering attentive service, describing daily specials, taking orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, basic English, and familiarity with POS systems; eligibility to handle alcohol; training in food safety and alcohol awareness is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and speak English as required for role.
• Knowledge of POS system and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take food and beverage orders, and deliver promptly.
• Describe specials and answer menu questions to assist guests.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and follow up as needed.
• Maintain a clean workstation and assist with side work.
• Handle checks and cash, using the POS system.
• Adhere to service standards for greeting, beverage, and food delivery.
• Assist with bartending service as cross-trained.
• Practice safe work habits and maintain reliable attendance.

The Club at Cordillera Mountain in Edwards, Colorado is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation

$12.14 - $13.00 per hour

Essential Duties

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the role.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system.
