At Viva Memory Care at Dresher, mealtime is about much more than food. It's a time for residents to connect with friends, enjoy familiar favorites, and feel comfortable and at home.
As a Dining Services Associate, you'll be an important part of creating that experience. You'll work alongside our culinary and care teams to make sure our residents receive friendly service, delicious meals, and a dining environment they enjoy.

What You’ll Do
You’ll help make sure every resident has a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience.
Serve
- Help serve meals and beverages to residents in a friendly and respectful manner
- Present meals in an attractive and appealing way
- Be attentive to residents' needs and preferences
- Help create a warm and welcoming dining environment
Keep It Clean
- Follow daily cleaning schedules for the kitchen and dining areas
- Clean and sanitize tables, equipment, work areas, and other dining spaces
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and inviting environment
Work Together
- Communicate with coworkers regarding residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Work closely with the culinary and care teams
- Help accommodate special diets and medical dietary requirements
- Jump in and support your teammates when needed
Keep Residents Safe
- Follow ServSafe and applicable state food safety requirements
- Practice proper food handling and sanitation techniques
- Help prevent foodborne illness by following established safety procedures
- Report concerns regarding food, equipment, or resident needs to the appropriate team member

What You Bring
- Genuine interest in working with older adults
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Dependable and positive attitude
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in memory care, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, restaurant, or customer service is a plus
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to successfully complete required training

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and move throughout the workday
- Bend, reach, push, and pull as needed
- Lift, push, pull, move, and/or carry up to 25 pounds as required
- Safely perform dining room and kitchen duties
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with emergency procedures when necessary
