Job summary

Vail Resorts in California is seeking a Restaurant Team Leader for the winter seasonal 2026/2027 to lead floor service, support management with operations, and foster teamwork to ensure a top-notch dining experience for guests. Starting wage ranges from $21.50 to $26.88 per hour with full-time hours available.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, restaurant or supervisory experience, ability to stand up to 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous restaurant, supervisory or guest service experience.
• Ability to stand and walk continuously for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Attend to all guest needs in the restaurant ensuring responsive, friendly, and courteous service.
• Answer phones and radio working directly with other personnel to maintain the dining areas, including set up and busing of tables as needed
• Work on the floor or in the kitchen, wherever needed, to ensure smooth operation
• Assists in the ongoing training of staff and provides any necessary feedback
• Enforce and comply with all applicable regulations pertaining to health and safety requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests
• Ensure cleanliness and operation of restaurant and equipment through inspection and adherence to preventative maintenance programs

The expected pay range is $21.50/hr - $26.88/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
