Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Server to deliver attentive, friendly service in our on-site restaurant. You will provide hands-on table service, take orders, and help with meal service for events and daily meals in our Assisted Living community.

This non-tipped role offers a steady schedule, weekends and holidays as needed, and opportunities to grow within a collaborative team that values dignity, teamwork, and service to seniors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must communicate clearly in English (verbal and written).
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to multi-task and collaborate with team.
• Willing to learn in a hands-on hospitality role.
• Prior dining/restaurant server experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event.

Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands‑on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

• Must be able to efficiently multi‑task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members

• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands‑on, hospitality oriented position

• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred

• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
