Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking Dining Room Servers to join our on-site dining team in Glenview, IL. We offer both full-time and part-time roles with varied scheduling and a non-tipped position.

Full-time shifts include 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. or 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., with weekend flexibility required; part-time are 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., days vary. You will provide attentive service and support events in an Assisted Living community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Able to multi-task and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Willingness to learn in a hands-on hospitality role.
• Restaurant server experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive dining service to assigned tables in the on-site restaurant.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature with proper presentation.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware and beverages are ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and meet guest needs throughout meals.

Part Time Schedule: 4pm - 7pm, days varied

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event.

Working collaboratively with a team, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event service in our Assisted Living community.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience

• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner

• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy

• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready

• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community

• Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years of age

• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English

• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed

• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members

• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position

• Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred

• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
