Job summary

Havenwood of Burnsville is seeking a Part Time Dining Room Server to support our culinary team in delivering exceptional senior living hospitality. You will provide full-scope serving services, set tables, take orders, and maintain a welcoming dining atmosphere for residents and guests.

Ideal candidates have some food service experience and a genuine interest in working with seniors. This role emphasizes hospitality, professionalism, and a team-oriented environment within our community.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school.
• Experience in food service work preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order.
• Take orders, provide service and items graciously and courteously.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
• Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization in dining areas.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
