Job summary

Delaware North’s Patina Group in Buffalo, NY is hiring a part-time Server to deliver exceptional service and create lasting impressions for guests. This tipped position offers hourly pay with potential bonuses from tips and a supportive benefits package.

You will greet guests, take orders, serve beverages, process payments, and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff. Prior POS experience is a plus; training and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• Experience as a server in a high-volume environment is a plus.
• Experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process payments, and deliver checks to guests.
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, ensuring equipment/workspaces are clean and organized.

Delaware North’s Patina Group is hiring part-time Servers to join our team at Patina 250 in Buffalo, New York. As a Server, you will have the privilege of representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$10.70 – $10.70 / hour

What will you do?

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus and clearly communicate restaurant specials, answering menu questions, and collecting food and beverage orders
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures
• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen and bar staff
• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning

More about you

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Beneficial if you have one year’s experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as walk, which may include walking up stairs, stand, and bend for long periods of time
• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
