A popular dining amusement park in Buena Park is seeking experienced servers to join their dining locations. Candidates should have at least 6 months of serving experience and be able to provide excellent customer service in a fun environment. Responsibilities

• Greets guests, explains menus, answers questions, and records guest orders including special requests into the ordering system; communicates special instructions to kitchen staff as appropriate.
• Verifies that food orders are properly plated in accordance with park standards and that guests’ special requests are met; ensures food and beverages are promptly served.
• Adheres to and enforces policies regarding alcohol consumption during the dining experience.
• Checks back on guests throughout their visit, responding to needs, refilling drinks, and taking dessert orders.
• Processes guest checks and accepts payment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ months of serving experience required.
• Ability to follow proper service standards for casual to formal dining environments.
• Food Handler’s card as required by state or provincial law.
• Ability to memorize the complete menu, including modifiers, and explain it to guests.
• Ability to balance and transport large trays of food, up to 30 lbs., throughout a bustling dining room during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a background check (includes credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per company policy).
