Job summary

Boulder Country Club is seeking a friendly server to deliver exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests. The role emphasizes accurate order taking, strong knowledge of the menu and alcohol options, and greeting guests by name in a fast-paced club environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, detail-oriented, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Prior serving experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and employee discounts.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Basic knowledge of liquors, beer, and wine.
  • Available to work at least 5 shifts a week, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
  • Attention to detail, including excellent memory for names and faces.
  • Punctual and professional in manner and appearance.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and promptly record all transactions in the POS system.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of the entire food menu, including allergen options for guests with dietary restrictions.
  • Provide excellent service, including greeting members and guests by name.
  • Consistently comply with state, local, and club laws/policies relating to the service of alcohol.
  • Ensure adequate supplies and stock are maintained in the server station.
  • Follow and complete opening and closing checklists for assigned areas, including daily and weekly cleaning duties.
  • Report comments or complaints to a manager on duty as they occur.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, and keep all areas clean and organized.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management.

The ideal candidate has early afternoon availability and can work weekends.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly wage is $13.82 plus tips.
