Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of guest service, from food orders to beer and wine preparation.
• Assist with every facet of restaurant front of the house procedures to ensure an outstanding guest experience
• Welcome guests warmly by smiling and making eye contact as they enter the restaurant
• Communicate with other servers and managers regarding availability of tables, seating of large parties, and special requests.
• Constantly move throughout the kitchen and restaurant
• Constantly monitor and maintain food standards for recipe production, appearance, correctness, quality, and safety
• Assist with bussing and resetting tables according to restaurant's standards
• Assist as bar-back when needed
• Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and tools
• Process accurate cash and credit card transactions with point-of-sale system
• Handle guest concerns by listening; informing a manager; and helping to resolve issues
• Support team members including leadership
• Execute effective communication skills
• Exude positive attitude under stress
• Contribute to a fun and professional work environment
• Ability to execute follow-through
