Job summary

Senior Solutions Management Group in Boiling Springs, SC is seeking a friendly Food Service Associate to deliver meals to residents and guests, take orders, and ensure timely, pleasant service in line with our policies and quality standards.

You will buss and reset tables, maintain sanitary dining areas, assist with tray service, and collaborate with all staff to meet resident needs while upholding health codes and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accept food orders, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverages to residents/guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss tables and reset tables according to policies and standards.
• Complete assigned side work and check out with Manager at shift end.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure timely room service according to Tray Service/Pick Up policy.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, comply with health codes, inspect end-of-shift duties.
• Attend required training and staff meetings; meet training standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and co-workers.
• Follow safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation and prevent back injury.
• Affect budgets by avoiding waste of products and time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss tables and reset tables in accordance to Company policies, procedures and Standards.
• Complete assigned side work and checks out with Manager at completion of shift.
• Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely room service according to our Tray Service/Pick Up related policy.
• Maintain clean and sanitary condition of work areas, china and equipment. Comply with all state and local health codes for food handling. Inspect end of shift duties are completed by staff. Adhere to the personal hygiene policy.
• Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings. Meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.
• Train and/or revisit training with staff.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
• All dietary department personnel should follow safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation according to our accident prevention in food preparation and prevention of back injury policy.
• Affect budgets by avoiding waste of products and time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
