Job summary

Senior Solutions Management Group is seeking a friendly dining associate to deliver food and beverages to residents and guests, communicate orders to the kitchen, and ensure timely, courteous service while upholding health and safety standards.

You will buss and reset tables, maintain clean dining areas, comply with local health codes, participate in training, and collaborate with staff to provide a positive, engaging dining experience for seniors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a dining or care setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss tables and reset tables in accordance to Company policies, procedures and Standards.
• Complete assigned side work and checks out with Manager at completion of shift.
• Collaborate with all staff to ensure timely room service according to our Tray Service/Pick Up related policy.
• Maintain clean and sanitary condition of work areas, china and equipment. Comply with all state and local health codes for food handling. Inspect end of shift duties are completed by staff. Adhere to the personal hygiene policy.
• Attend all required training, in services, and staff meetings. Meet all department training standards through regulatory training and/or other necessary training modules as required.
• Train and/or revisit training with staff.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.
• All dietary department personnel should follow safety precautions to prevent accidents in food preparation according to our accident prevention in food preparation and prevention of back injury policy.
• Affect budgets by avoiding waste of products and time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
