Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a Server to create a welcoming dining experience. This full-time, hourly role requires attention to detail, hospitality passion, and efficient work in a fast-paced setting.

You will guide guests through the menu, take and deliver orders, and ensure attentive service from arrival to departure. Work with kitchen and bar teams to maintain smooth operations, uphold cleanliness and safety standards, and provide guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a server or customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to provide consistently high levels of guest service in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and electronic payments.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; lift and carry trays up to 25 lbs/11 kg.
• Reliable, punctual; flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Willingness to learn menu items and basic food & beverage knowledge.
• Minimum age as required by local law; may need food handler or alcohol service certifications.

About The Role

As a Server in our Restaurant, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for every guest. This hourly, full-time position requires strong attention to detail, a genuine passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for guiding guests through the menu, accurately taking and delivering orders, and ensuring that each table receives friendly, attentive service from arrival to departure. Working closely with the kitchen and bar teams, you will help maintain smooth restaurant operations while upholding our standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests promptly and warmly, providing menus and explaining daily specials or promotions
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional manner, ensuring correct orders and proper presentation
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to anticipate needs and resolve any concerns quickly
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and common dietary restrictions
• Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages; coordinate with bar staff for alcoholic drink orders as required by policy
• Handle guest payments accurately, process cash and card transactions, and follow proper check-out procedures
• Set up, clear, and reset tables efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and cleaning practices
• Collaborate with hosts, servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to support smooth and efficient service
• Respond to guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism, courtesy, and problem-solving mindset
• Assist with opening and closing side work such as stocking stations, polishing glassware and silverware, and cleaning service areas
• Adhere to company policies, dress code, and service standards at all times

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to lift and carry trays, plates, and supplies as needed (typically up to 25 lbs / 11 kg)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask while managing multiple tables
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Willingness to learn menu items, daily specials, and basic food and beverage knowledge
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
• Minimum age as required by local law and restaurant policy; ability to obtain any required food handler or alcohol service certifications

The Pay Range For This Role Is

10.85 - 10.85 USD per hour(Hilton Garden Inn Billings)
