HJF is seeking a Serology Medical Technologist I to support the Diagnostics and Countermeasures Branch (DCB) at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, Maryland. HJF provides scientific, technical, and programmatic support services to DCB. The position requires ASCP certification.
The incumbent will perform assays and procedures in strict accordance with laboratory SOPs, policies, GCLP, accrediting bodies, and U.S. regulatory agencies, including CAP, DoD CLIP, and the U.S. FDA. Responsibilities include sample preparation and analysis, operation and maintenance of instrumentation, and ensuring quality control in support of clinical diagnostics and research. No evening shifts required.

Primarily laboratory setting.
Hourly pay ranges from $24.09 to $33.65, based on experience and education.

Employment contingent upon successful background check, including references, employment verification, criminal background, and DMV check if applicable. Qualifications considered as equivalents require prior approval from the Chief Human Resources Officer.
