Job summary

Soils, Inc-2 is seeking a Septic Installer to install septic systems per project plans, safety regulations, and company standards. This role builds on Septic Installer 1 and performs advanced tasks while mentoring junior staff.

You will lay pipes per plans, operate the grade pole for alignment, and use a skid steer to move materials to installation sites. Teamwork and attention to detail are essential for progression.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• 1–2 years septic install experience.
• Experience with septic system installation preferred.
• Ability to operate construction equipment such as skid steers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical plans.
• Team-oriented with willingness to mentor colleagues.

About the Role

The Septic Installer is responsible for installing septic systems in accordance with project plans, safety regulations, and company standards. This role builds upon the skills of a Septic Installer 1 and contributes to the team by performing advanced installation tasks and assisting in training junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a valid driver’s license and comply with all safety regulations.
• Perform all duties of a Septic Installer 1
• Lay pipes according to project plans and regulatory standards, using the appropriate pipe types and connectors
• Operate the grade pole to ensure proper system alignment and installation.
• Operate a skid steer to transport and distribute stone to ditches and installation sites

Additional Responsibilities

• Assist in training and mentoring Septic Installer 1 team members
• Develop skills and knowledge to progress toward the responsibilities of a Septic Installer 3
