Job summary

Intertek Whitehouse in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, is seeking a Chemist to support the separations group in a cGMP contract testing environment. You will work with chromatography methods, develop and validate assays, and interact with clients to understand needs and regulatory expectations.

The role offers competitive compensation between $75,000 and $90,000 plus benefits, on-site work, and opportunities for growth and training within a collaborative team of scientists.

Qualifications

• AS in Chemistry or related degree + 20 years of experience.
• BS in Chemistry or related degree + 10 years of experience.
• MS in Chemistry or related degree + 5 years of experience.
• PhD in Chemistry or related degree.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute method development, validation and transfer studies.
• Provide high-level evaluation of chromatography separations and data sets.
• Engage with clients on study design and validation questions.
• Write complex reports for development and method validation.
• Ensure instrument operation, sample prep and troubleshooting.
• Communicate project status clearly to clients and within the team.
