Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics in Tarrytown, NY, is seeking a Process Development Engineer III on-site to lead chromatography-based separation tech and drive new process implementations. Qualifications
- Engineering degree with PhD/MS/BS as listed.
- Experience in protein purification.
- Ability to communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Experience with the listed software tools.
Responsibilities
- Serve as authority in chromatography-based separation techniques.
- Independently lead technology development and onboarding of new tech.
- Write and review complex technical documents for senior leadership.
- Plan and execute experiments; take calculated risks to close technical gaps.
- Mentor peers and contribute to lab safety and equipment maintenance.
- Prepare and deliver presentations at internal/external meetings.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and represent PMPD in multi-functional meetings.
- Maintain lab operations and data/knowledge management systems.
- Complete SOP training and compliance responsibilities.
