About The Role
The role owns organic and paid search performance for a well-funded technology company, driving qualified traffic and pipeline through SEO, SEM, and technical site health. This is a hands-on specialist role with real budget authority and direct impact on acquisition numbers.
You will work at the intersection of content, engineering, and analytics — running keyword strategy, managing Google Ads and Bing campaigns, auditing site architecture, and translating search data into decisions the broader marketing team can act on.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the SEO roadmap: run technical audits, fix crawl/indexation issues, and improve site architecture in partnership with engineering
- Manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, including keyword bidding, ad copy testing, and budget pacing
- Conduct keyword and competitive research using Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar tools to shape content and PPC priorities
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards in GA4, Looker Studio, or Search Console tracking rankings, CTR, conversions, and blended CPA
- Optimize landing pages and on-page elements (title tags, schema, internal linking) to improve organic conversion rates
- Run structured experiments on ad copy, match types, and bidding strategies; document learnings and scale winners
- Partner with content and demand-gen teams to align search strategy with campaign calendar and pipeline targets
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience, ideally in B2B or B2C tech
- Deep proficiency with Google Ads, Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one major SEO toolset (Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz)
- Solid understanding of technical SEO: crawlability, indexing, site speed, structured data, and log-file basics
- Experience managing six-figure paid search budgets with demonstrated ROAS or CPA improvements
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable with Excel/Sheets, attribution models, and building reports from raw data
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: HTML/CSS literacy, experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow), Google Ads certifications, or SQL skills
