As Sr. Manager, SEO/SEM, you'll bring BMC's global campaigns to the forefront of modern search experience by developing, socializing, and executing a persona-driven search strategy. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

• Develop strategic SEO/SEM goals and tactics for each audience, then socialize them with Corporate and business teams to drive alignment
• Lead a team of contractors and agency resources to write and edit content engineered to win front-row organic visibility with BMC's audiences
• Lead a team of contractors and agency resources to write and edit compelling advertising copy, utilizing performance data over time to optimize language and improve CPC and ROI
• Advise content-creating teams in areas such as quality, formatting, and information architecture (from an SEO/SEM perspective) to help improve content ROI
• Conduct ongoing SEO monitoring of bmc.com to inform content strategy and web enhancements
• Work with technical and operational colleagues to ensure enhancements are properly implemented

To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• You bring deep domain expertise, which likely correlates with at least 7 years of professional experience leading SEO/SEM strategy and execution as well as relevant professional certifications
• You enjoy working independently, but also genuinely value the synthesis and learning potential of cross-functional collaboration
• Your natural attitude tends toward proactiveness; you see ambiguity as an opportunity to lead and chart the future

Not a must, but a bonus:

• Experience running SEO/SEM for a company with SaaS products
• Experience making significant positive impact while working in a large, matrixed organization
• International SEO/SEM experience

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $129,375 - $215,625
