Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an SEO Manager to own the technical roadmap, content priorities, and ranking narrative for urgent care clients with multiple locations. You’ll act as the strategic voice, guiding decisions and working with writers and AI to execute on priorities.

You will manage technical SEO, keyword strategy, local multi-location SEO, and reporting in GA4/Search Console, while coordinating with US-based clients on live calls. This is a fully remote role in an AI-first agency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO with audits and fixes.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Agency experience across several clients at once.
• Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
• SEO for urgent care or multi-location businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, architecture.
• Define keyword strategy and on-page optimization with writers and AI.
• Improve visibility in AI search and traditional organic results.
• Handle local search and multi-location SEO as needed.
• Report in GA4 and Search Console; maintain quarterly roadmaps.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency is an AI-first digital agency. As SEO Manager, Urgent Care you own search for a book of urgent care clients (urgent care groups running many sites): the technical roadmap, the content priorities and the ranking story when the client asks what moved. You are the strategic voice at the table, and you make the calls.

What You Will Own

• Technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
• Keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
• Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
• Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
• Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.

What You Bring

• 3+ years hands-on in SEO: you have run the audits and made the fixes yourself.
• Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
