Job summary

Jobtailor in New York seeks an experienced SEO Lead to drive organic growth for client accounts. You will lead data-driven strategies, perform technical audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to boost visibility and performance.

You will design white-hat link-building, analyze trends, and provide actionable reports to clients. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on SEO and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with website architecture, indexing, crawling, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and site performance optimizations.
• Proficiency in Screaming Frog, Semrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, BuzzSumo, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and/or Google Tag Manager.
• Ability to conduct keyword research, increase content for search engines, and align strategies with user behavior.
• Experience analyzing SEO data, drawing insights, and making recommendations.
• Experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring deliverables align with client expectations.
• Experience troubleshooting SEO challenges and adapting to changes in search algorithms.
• Resume in English

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve site architecture, crawlability, and performance issues
• Increase onsite content in alignment with SEO best practices, user intent, and organic search trends
• Design and implement white-hat link-building strategies
• Use SEO research, competitor analysis, and market trends to refine strategies
• Provide performance reports with actionable insights and growth recommendations
• Participate in internal and client-facing meetings as a subject matter expert
• Collaborate with Social, Content, Paid Media, Display, Creative, Development, and UX teams
• Work with Client Services and Project Management to keep projects on budget and within agreed timelines
• Report to the SEO Director
