Job summary

Seven Retail is seeking a SEO Freelance to drive organic growth across its lifestyle services. You will conduct keyword research, perform on-page optimization, and guide content strategy for multiple brand pages.

Responsibilities include resolving keyword cannibalization issues, coordinating article plans, and monitoring rankings and traffic with actionable recommendations using GSC, GA, Ahrefs, and SEMrush. This remote role offers flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on SEO experience in on-page and content strategy.
• Experience identifying and resolving keyword cannibalization issues.
• Familiar with SEO tools and web analytics platforms.

Your Day-to-Day

• Conduct keyword cannibalization analysis to identify overlapping/competing pages and recommend merge, redirect, or differentiation actions
• Optimize existing articles based on SEO audit findings (on-page SEO, search intent alignment, E-E-A-T improvements, internal linking)
• Develop and make Article plans based on keyword research and search performance data (GSC, keyword clusters)
• Execute article merges, including drafting consolidated pillar content and coordinating 301 redirectsMonitor keyword ranking and organic traffic performance, and provide actionable recommendation

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, particularly on-page optimization and content strategy
• Proven experience handling keyword cannibalization issues (identification and resolution), especially experience in healthcare/medical content SEO
• Familiar with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs/Semrush and Wordpress/Elementor
• Strong understanding of E-E-A-T principles and their application in content
• Good command of Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly
